ABOUT THE WINERY:
For over 100 years the Rabino family has been cultivating the vineyards in Barolo, Piemonte. They make bold wines with a strong personality linked to the history of Monforte d’Alba, which has become a UNESCO heritage site.
The Rabino Agricultural Company was born in 1909, founded by Rabino Bernardo who planted the first vineyards. In 1920 he built the first small cellar in the hamlet of Bussia San Giovanni where he began to produce the first fine wines of the company.
Most of the grapes harvested were sold and only a small part was vinified for a select clientele, but the son Marco, decided to treasure everything that has been handed down the family. Today, all the grapes are vinified in the company cellar through a natural method and with respect for tradition.
Decanting: Decant for at least 2–3 hours to soften tannins and fully develop the wine’s bouquet.
Serving Temperature: Serve slightly below room temperature, around 60–65°F (16–18°C), for optimal flavor.
